Our story began when R. Peters (Pete) Hubbell Jr., founded Hubbell Realty Services back in 1996 to assess all types of properties, including residential and commercial properties, income-producing, investment-grade properties and major developments in the Northeast, primarily concentrating in the Hudson Valley region and upstate New York.
In 1996, the company was re-founded as Ackerly & Hubbell Appraisal Corp.
In 2017, as part of a succession plan, Pete transitioned his remaining ownership interest to his partner, Grant Ackerly, and is still active in both appraising and company mentorship.
The firm’s principal, Grant Ackerly, MAI, AI-GRS, CCIM, has over 15 years of appraisal experience. The firm’s founder, R. Peters Hubbell, Jr., MAI, has over 35 years of experience.
